MAKHACHKALA, May 13 – RIA "Dagestan". Fedor Shchukin, Acting Head of the Republic of Dagestan, has signed a decree appointing Magomed Ramazanov as Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, following unanimous approval by the People's Assembly (regional parliament).
The new Prime Minister has been tasked with submitting proposals regarding the structure of government bodies and the composition of the cabinet within the established procedural timeframe. This appointment formalizes Ramazanov's role after he was named Acting Prime Minister on May 6.
During a session of the People's Assembly, Acting Head Shchukin presented Ramazanov's candidacy to deputies, emphasizing the need for coordinated executive action to address regional development priorities. The parliament approved the appointment unanimously, signaling broad legislative support for the proposed leadership.
Ramazanov, who previously served as Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasian Federal District, brings federal-level administrative experience to the position.
