MAKHACHKALA, September 25 – RIA Dagestan. Dagestan has taken fifth place in the ranking of Russian regions based on sales of family tours with children for the upcoming autumn school holidays.
According to the travel service Sletat.ru, the republic accounts for 4% of the total volume of family tours sold across Russia. The ranking is led by Krasnodar Krai (26%), Moscow Oblast and Primorsky Krai (11% each) and the Caucasian Mineral Waters region (7.5%). Dagestan rounds out the top five most popular destinations for family vacations during this period.
This year, autumn school holidays for students on the quarter system are scheduled from October 26 to November 3, while those on the trimester system will have their breaks from October 5 to 11 and November 16 to 22.
