MAKHACHKALA, March 18 – RIA Dagestan. Residents of Dagestan now can submit proposals for the improvement of streets, parks or public squares via the "Gosuslugi. We Decide Together" portal. These submissions are intended to contribute to the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
Proposals that meet established criteria may be considered for inclusion in public discussion processes and could form a basis for urban infrastructure development initiatives in future years.
Applications are accepted until March 26, 2026. To participate, users must have a verified account on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services. The submission process involves completing a form that includes: the name of the public area, a description of the territory proposed for improvement and either an exact address or a marked location on the map. After selecting the "Submit for Review" option, proposals undergo preliminary verification by relevant authorities and do not appear in the public system immediately upon submission.
Key participation requirements include:
* Only Russian citizens aged 14 or older are eligible to submit proposals;
* Each individual may submit one proposal during the current application period.
Proposals may be excluded from consideration if they contain: obscene or offensive language, content posing threats to citizens' life or health, calls for extremist or terrorist activities, propaganda of hatred or discrimination, personal data of third parties without consent, commercial advertising or spam or illegible text.
Following the end of the application period on March 26, 2026, a final list of territories for voting will be compiled. A nationwide online voting campaign is subsequently scheduled for April 21 to June 12, 2026, during which residents may cast votes for one of the proposed urban improvement options.
