MAKHACHKALA, April 22 – RIA Dagestan. North Ossetia's "Komgaron" training center hosted the North Caucasian District Rosgvardia combat handgun shooting championship, honoring the 10th anniversary of the National Guard and the 215th anniversary of Russia's law enforcement troops.
Nineteen teams from district military units and territorial administrations competed over three days, testing marksmanship with three weapons: Makarov pistol, Kalashnikov rifle and sniper rifle.
Dagestan Rosgvardia Directorate team took gold in their subgroup. Among military units, the Special Purpose Center finished first. The winners now join the district's combined team to represent the Northern Caucasus at the All-Russian Rosgvardia Championship.
