MAKHACHKALA, June 17 – RIA "Dagestan". The Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Dagestan honored the winners of two open online tournaments: the "Crypto World 2025" security quiz and "The Unknown War" patriotic competition. Young IT specialists demonstrated outstanding knowledge and teamwork.
In the "Crypto World 2025" tournament, the student team "Tekhnar" from S.Ordzhonikidze College of Mechanical Engineering and Service came out on top. The students masterfully tackled complex challenges in logic and information security. In the "Unknown War" competition, gold in the region and first place among school teams was claimed by students of the "IT-Cube" center from the S.Stalsky Caspian Gymnasium No. 11, who displayed lightning-fast reaction times and tactical thinking.
Acting Minister of Digital Development of the Republic of Dagestan Yuri Gamzatov congratulated the winners: "Every victory like this shows that our youth do not simply use their phones but truly understand the digital world. We are very pleased that young people from Dagestan actively participate in IT competitions and win first place. It is you who will create new programs tomorrow and defend our country on the Internet. I am proud of you and your mentors!"
Deputy Minister Badruttin Magomedov and Head of the Department Karina Kazieva joined in the congratulations. They wished the participants to regularly update their knowledge, not to shy away from difficult tasks and to aim for admission to leading universities in information and digital fields. The winners and their mentors received trophies, certificates and gifts.
