Dagestan Submits 75 Applications to Participate in "Znanie.Nastavniki" Project

MAKHACHKALA, June 9 – RIA Dagestan. More than 7,000 participants from all regions of Russia have already joined the "Znanie.Nastavniki" project, including 75 representatives from Dagestan. The project is implemented by the "Znanie" Russian Society backed by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Rosdetcenter and the Movement of the First. Applications are being accepted on the project's official website and will close on June 30.

The majority of applications came from school representatives, with mentors from secondary vocational education organizations accounting for about 30% of the applications. The most active category of participants are teacher-mentors, who submitted 3,564 applications. Advisor-mentors submitted 2,082 applications, and manager-mentors submitted 1,755 applications.

Project participants are currently engaged in training via the "Znanie.Academy" platform, following a course specially prepared for them: "Mentorship Mastery: Developing the Potential of Youth with Low Motivation." The program covers up-to-date potential assessment methods, the art of building trust, and strategies for nurturing the personal growth of young people. Mentorship practices, motivation-sustaining tools and professional burnout prevention techniques are also featured.

After completing the training, specialists will need to compile a professional portfolio with the results of their mentoring activities, complete practical assignments based on pedagogical situations and present their original mentoring practices.

Following an expert review, the country's leading mentors will be identified. The winners are to receive monetary recognition, and the top 200 participants will be invited to a face-to-face learning program at the Mashuk Knowledge Center, where they can present their approaches, share know-how with fellow mentors and further advance their professional skills.

Applications can be submitted by heads of educational organizations and their deputies, teaching staff and directors' advisors for education and interaction with children's public associations.

The "Znanie.Nastavniki" project builds a comprehensive system for identifying, supporting, and professionally developing mentors in general education institutions and the secondary vocational education sector. Particular emphasis is placed on raising the prestige of mentorship, enhancing educational activities, and spreading effective teaching practices.
