MAKHACHKALA, February 17 – RIA "Dagestan". The Republic of Dagestan participates in the professional tourism roadshow "Simply Tourism", a nationwide series of presentations for travel agencies taking place in 18 Russian cities during February and March. The initiative aims to promote domestic tourism destinations and foster new partnerships within the travel industry.
The roadshow launched on February 16 in Tyumen, where 97 representatives of travel agencies attended the event. Subsequent stops are planned in Yekaterinburg and other cities, with each venue hosting business meetings between Dagestan's tourism representatives and local agencies and tour operators.
Dagestan is represented by the Tourism Center of the Republic of Dagestan and the tour operator "DagTur". Presentations showcase the republic's key destinations, excursion and combined tour programs for the 2026 season, familiarization trip options, and current hotel infrastructure. Particular emphasis is placed on the national tourist route "Legends of Dagestan", which unites natural landmarks, historical and cultural monuments and traditional folk crafts. The roadshow's primary objective is to establish new business contacts with regional tour operators and travel agents.
