MAKHACHKALA, July 7 – RIA "Dagestan". A schoolgirl from Untsukulsky District, Khalimat Alibekova, has been named the winner of the "Decorative and Applied Arts" nomination at the federal stage of the All-Russian "Heirs of Traditions" Festival.
The regional Ministry of Education and Science reported that the festival attracted a massive 140,000 participants this year, with a rigorous selection process ultimately leaving 217 finalists from 47 regions.
Khalimat represented Dagestan among the prize-winners. She traveled to Vologda Region for the final stage, accompanied by Shamil Nurmagomedov, a teacher from the Altair Talent Development Center, with the Kvantorium Technopark acting as the regional coordinator for the competition.
