MAKHACHKALA, July 3 – RIA "Dagestan". Starting July 7, a series of lectures for young people will begin in a number of municipalities of Dagestan as part of the "Znanie.Lecture Hall" track, the press service of the "Znanie" Society reports. The project is implemented with support of the Internal Policy Directorate of Administration of the Head and Government of Dagestan and will cover Makhachkala, Kaspiysk as well as the Untsukulsky, Sergokalinsky and Gunibsky districts. Specialized experts, government representatives and participants of the special military operation will discuss issues of information security, elections, patriotism and family values with the young people. The events are expected to gather more than 400 listeners at the venues of municipal administrations.
The program, compiled taking into account regional needs, will cover modern challenges: from countering extremism on the internet to analyzing Russia's role in global geopolitics.
Znanie Society speakers will teach young people how to spot fake information, avoid recruiter traps and safeguard their online data. In the run-up to the Single Voting Day, Dagestani Head Advisor Yusup Guseinov, DSU Associate Professor Zaira Musalova, Regional Management Center staff member Nailya Efendieva and Professor Raiganat Abakarova will cover electoral organization and the protection of the voting process, including topics such as deepfakes, weaponized artificial intelligence and Russia's role in the East.
Myths about Russophobia will be addressed by Timur Velikhanov (lecturer at the Russian Law Academy), Vali Arsanaliev (Chief of Staff of the Dagestani Human Rights Commissioner) and special military operation participant Isa Shakhbanov, who will also share stories of the heroism of Fatherland defenders.
