Dagestanis Take Out Fewest Loans in the Country – Study

MAKHACHKALA, March 2 – RIA "Dagestan". According to a debt burden rating of the Russian population compiled by RIA Novosti, residents of Ingushetia, Dagestan, and Chechnya rank among those with the lowest levels of bank borrowing in the country. The rating indicates that the average bank debt per resident in Dagestan stands at just under RUB 130,000, having decreased by approximately RUB 7,000 rubles during 2025. In contrast, the highest debt burdens were recorded among residents of the republics of Tuva and Kalmykia.
