Damage caused by mining operations in Dagestan exceeds RUB 380 million

Dagestan authorities have assessed the extent of damage caused by mining farms. In recent years, the region has witnessed the emergence of a significant number of cryptocurrency mining farms. As of now, 12 criminal proceedings are currently ongoing. Over the course of the past three years, a total of 89 incidents have been reported, resulting in losses amounting to RUB 387.4 million. Nevertheless, the investigative authorities have successfully recovered damages amounting to RUB 105 million.
