MAKHACHKALA, October 30 – RIA Dagestan. The second day of the Forum of Elders of Southern Russia has fostered significant cross-regional collaboration, bringing together diverse stakeholders to discuss the "Wisdom of Generations in the Unity of Russia". The event’s two discussion platforms served as a conduit for sharing expertise on interethnic harmony and the preservation of spiritual values.
Moderated by Mustafa Bilalov, the first platform explored the elder institution as a guardian of traditional values. The session benefited from multidisciplinary input, including perspectives from the Union of Writers of Russia and a scholarly analysis by Zaid Abdullagatov of the DFRC RAS on educational upbringing.
The second platform, under the moderation of political scientist Khanzhan Kurbanov, featured a robust exchange among public figures and veterans’ leaders. Participants such as Ibrahim Ibragimov, Khanpasha Abrekov and Oleg Korablyov contributed to a rich dialogue on cultural continuity and social cohesion.
The forum reaffirmed the collective commitment of Southern Russia’s regions to leveraging the wisdom of elders as a cornerstone of national unity and moral resilience.
