MAKHACHKALA, July 22 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan’s Ministry of Education and Science reports a significant rise in vocational graduates, from 18,396 in 2023 to 24,494 in 2026, with training aligned to regional labor market needs.

Healthcare (32.48%) and Technical Sciences (24.84%) dominate the graduation structure, followed by Economics and Law (24.36%), while Education and Physical Culture remains stable at 11–12%; highly specialized fields like services and advertising account for no more than 1.2%.

The use of demonstration exams for independent qualification assessment has grown nearly 30% since 2022, reaching 8,930 students in 2026, reflecting employer confidence and systemic integration into final certification. Under the 2030 Roadmap approved in May 2024, career centers in colleges and universities are expanding dual training and adjusting admissions to economic demands, aiming to increase graduate employment from 22% in 2024 to 71% by 2030.
