MAKHACHKALA, August 5 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan secondary vocational education institutions have received 16,375 applications, with healthcare and information technology emerging as the most sought-after specialties. The Ministry of Education attributed this trend to increasing demand for qualified medical personnel and IT specialists needed to develop digital infrastructure. Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov reported a national record of nearly 3 million college applications, representing an increase of 500,000 compared to the same period last year.
