MAKHACHKALA, May 18 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan has received an additional 60 tons of seed potatoes from Bryansk Oblast, delivered as humanitarian aid to support farmers in mountainous districts affected by spring floods. The potatoes, supplied by "Melensky Potato" LLC on the initiative of Russia's Ministry of Agriculture, will be distributed for spring planting in Tsumada, Charoda, Untsukul, Kuli, Botlikh, Lak and Khunzakh districts.
This assistance aims to restore damaged agricultural land and strengthen food security in communities impacted by heavy rains and landslides. Sharip Sharipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Dagestan, called the delivery "a symbol of genuine agrarian solidarity" and expressed gratitude to fellow Russian regions for responding to the plight of Dagestani farmers.
