MAKHACHKALA, May 3 – RIA "Dagestan." Makhachkala city authorities initiate major road network upgrades. Nighttime work is underway on Akushinsky Avenue, where seven machines—including milling units—are removing old asphalt and laying new pavement to accelerate progress and reduce disruption for residents.
Gobzalo Guseinov, deputy head of the Road Management Department, noted that work has also commenced on Magomedtagirov Street, with crews preparing roughly 2,000 square meters in one night.
Three key roads are now under active repair. Earlier this season, similar work on Imam Shamil Avenue repaired more than a dozen problematic sections.
