Makhachkala to Host 9th All-Russian Spartakiad for Workers

MAKHACHKALA, August 25 – RIA Dagestan. On August 29, Dagestan will host the 9th All-Russian Workers’ Spartakiad at Trud Stadium in Makhachkala. The event is run by the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Labor Reserves” and supported by the regional youth affairs ministry and the ministry for physical culture and sports.

Participants from work collectives and sports associations across the country will compete in events ranging from 3x3 basketball and volleyball to kettlebell lifting, checkers, arm wrestling and assault rifle assembly.
