MAKHACHKALA, August 26 – RIA Dagestan. More than 2,500 waste containers have been installed or replaced in Makhachkala since the beginning of the year, alongside the equipping of 141 new container sites, Ullubiy Adaev, head of the city's Housing and Utilities Department says.
The new euro-containers feature enhanced durability and ergonomics, aimed at optimizing waste collection and reducing operating costs.
Speaking after the installation of a new container site on Dakhadaev Street, Adaev said residents responded positively to the modern containers' aesthetic design and capacity.
"We have already received positive feedback from residents. Additionally, they are much more convenient for utility workers to operate" – the city administration official said.
