Rostelecom, together with the Regional Management Center of Dagestan, conducted a digital literacy seminar for staff of the Republican Education Center in Kaspiysk, with a focus on older employees.
Angela Bairambekova, the Center director and Elena Pavliuchenko, the Chair of the Education and Science Committee of the regional Parliament underscored the critical importance of digital competencies for everyday life. This set the stage for a substantive dialogue on digital safety and media literacy.
In an interactive segment, senior SMM specialist Nailia Efendieva addressed methods for identifying disinformation and stressed the value of relying on trusted sources and domestic digital services. The meeting also showcased Rostelecom’s educational initiative "Alphabet of the Internet" which provides comprehensive training modules—fr om computer basics to advanced topics like neural networks—alongside a dedicated module "Living Memory" for genealogical research related to WWII veterans.
The forum facilitated a practical exchange wh ere participants shared firsthand accounts of encountering cyber fraud, allowing experts to address specific concerns and reinforce key principles of online vigilance.
