MAKHACHKALA, September 11 – RIA "Dagestan". Aiming to popularize computer science and identify gifted students, the "TechnoSportFest – 2026" sports programming festival will be held in Dagestan with grant funding from the regional head. The republican Sports Programming Federation organizes the algorithmic competition, which will evaluate schoolchildren in individual standings.
The initial qualifying phase will occur remotely on September 22 via a special online platform, enabling participants to compete directly from their educational institutions. Those who advance will travel to Makhachkala for the in-person final on September 29, competing for a RUB 150,000 prize fund that features medals, cups and valuable awards.
