Dagestan boxer Albert Batyrgaziyev won the IBA world boxing title. On December 9, the IBA Night of Champions boxing evening was held in Dubai. The main event of the evening was the fight for the vacant IBA belt in the category up to 60 kg. Albert Batyrgaziev managed to defeat Cuban Lazaro Alvarez by unanimous decision of the judges.
