ASTRAKHAN, May 13 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan's mixfight team claimed first place in the overall team standings at the Russian Cup in Astrakhan. Led by coach Badavi Gasanov, the team amassed 116 medals: 38 gold, 37 silver, and 41 bronze.
Astrakhan Oblast took second, followed by the Chechen Republic in third. The victory underscores Dagestan's continued leadership in elite combat sports and positions its athletes favorably for future national and international competitions.
