MOSCOW, August 17 – RIA Dagestan. At the Russian Beach Rugby Championship in Moscow, Dagestan women’s team claimed silver after a decisive loss to Perm Krai in the final match. Led by Honored Coach Magomed Gadzhimagomedov, they successfully navigated Group B competition against Energiya, MAR-TsVSM and St. Petersburg to qualify for the elimination rounds.
The team demonstrated resilience in the playoff stage to earn their spot in the championship game against the eventual tournament winners. Although edged out in the final contest, Dagestan’s strong campaign solidified their position as the nation’s second-best beach rugby squad.
