Athletes from Dagestan have achieved notable success at the World Arm Wrestling Championship held in Albena, Bulgaria. The Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Dagestan reports on three athletes representing Beligi Sports School from Derbent municipal district winning medals. Akim Gamzatov emerged as the World Champion, while Rudin Selimkhanov and Ravil Tagirbekov both achieved bronze medal placings. Their success is attributed to the coaching expertise of Malik Tagirbekov.
