MAKHACHKALA, September 23 – RIA "Dagestan". Cheerav Ashalaev has advanced to the semifinals of the European Boxing Championship taking place in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. The Dagestani successfully fought his third bout at the tournament, defeating an opponent from Poland in the weight category up to 80 kg. By reaching the semifinals, Ashalaev has secured at least a bronze medal at the event and will continue his fight to reach the tournament final.
