MAKHACHKALA, August 17 – RIA Dagestan. Dzhambulat Bizhamov has claimed the IBF European super middleweight title after winning the main event of the IBA.PRO 20 tournament in Naberezhnye Chelny.
In the headline bout of the evening, Dagestani boxer defeated Vladimir Mironchikov, a 2021 World Championship bronze medalist competing for Serbia, by unanimous decision. The judges scored the fight 97-93 and 96-94 twice in favor of the Russian boxer. The contest went the full 10 rounds in a tense battle, with Bizhamov repeatedly seizing the initiative and effectively countering his opponent's attacks.
The 25-year-old Bizhamov now holds a perfect professional record of four wins and zero losses. His accolades include the 2025 World Championship title, finalist finishes at the 2021 World Championships and the 2024 European Championships, and multiple Russian national championships.
