SOFIA, September 19 – RIA "Dagestan". At the European Boxing Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, a trio of Dagestani athletes representing Russia has successfully navigated the first round of competition. The national squad features Rasul Magomedov and Cheerav Ashalaev in the under-65-kilogram weight class alongside Ramazan Dadaev in the under-90-kilogram bracket. By defeating fighters from Romania, Albania and Italy in their respective debut matches, all three boxers have confidently advanced to the tournament's round of 16.
