Dagestani Chess Player Wins Silver at Asian Championship

MAKHACHKALA, July 25 – RIA "Dagestan". Young Dagestani chess player Ayat Gasanova claimed silver in the girls’ under-8 classical event at the Asian Chess Championships in Shenzhen, China, finishing with 6.5 points as the tournament concluded today. Her achievement follows a successful 2026 campaign that saw her capture the Russian Rapid title and a bronze at the National Classical Championships. She trains under the supervision of Mansur Musaev.
