Five Dagestan karateka, members of the Russian youth national team, currently undergo training in the Yug Sport sports facility in Sochi. Tamerlan Magomedov, Akhmed Abdulmuslimov, Ruslan Dalgatov, Gadzhi Gadzhiev and Shamil Bagatov are among the participants in the intensive training program. The athletes are preparing for an international tournament scheduled to take place in El Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, on February 19-21. Nabi Magomedov, head coach of the national team, guides Dagestani competitors in their preparations for the upcoming event.
