NALCHIK, October 27 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan youth rugby team dominated the pitch in Nalchik, bringing home gold and silver from the interregional Mikhail Suanov Memorial Tournament. Honoring the legacy of the regional rugby pioneer, the event drew a highly competitive field of over 130 players from 10 teams across the Northern Caucasus and Stavropol Krai. The Dagestanis proved their mettle by sweeping the top two podium spots across the age groups, claiming gold in the 2009–2010 bracket and silver in the 2011–2012 category, cementing their status as a rising force in regional rugby.
