Marya Salimgereeva became the silver medalist of the international taekwondo tournament for people with locomotor defects in Bahrain. Dagestani student represented Kazakhstan at the international competition. Salimgereyeva came second in the 65kg category. She defeated an athlete from Iran, but lost the gold medal bout to a rival from Thailand, whom she had beaten twice in other tournaments.
