MAKHACHKALA, July 3 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestani athlete Ekaterina Chikanova has been included in the Russian women's wrestling national team to participate in the European Junior Championships for athletes under 21. The international competition will take place in North Macedonia on July 8 - 10. Chikanova will compete in the weight category up to 53 kg. Trained by Honored Coach of Russia Kasum Nasrudinov, she has already proven herself on the European stage, notably winning a bronze medal at the 2024 European Championship.
