MAKHACHKALA, July 28 – RIA "Dagestan". At the All-Russian "Path to Olympus" tournament in Moscow, Dagestan’s weightlifting team achieved a podium sweep with four golds, three silvers and three bronzes.
The gold medal winners are Amir Mutalibov, Akhmad Batiev, Arbi Khadiev and Magomed Manchaev. Silver medalists are Alimurad Gadzhibabatov, Muhammad Elmurzaev and Amina Migadova. Bronze award holders are Ibragim Batiev, Alimkhan Biibolatov and Gadzhi Saidakhmedov.
According to team coach Mansur Elmurzaev, the tournament successfully tested both emerging talent and the primary squad destined for next year’s Russian Youth Championships, maintaining focus on achieving first place in the team classification.
