MAKHACHKALA, June 29 – RIA "Dagestan". Saypula Gadzhimagomedov, a Greco-Roman wrestler from Dagestan, has been selected for the Russian junior team to compete at the U-20 European Championships scheduled for July 6–12 in Skopje, North Macedonia. The national team lineup was formed following a training camp at Paramonovo branch of the federal Center for Sports Training.
Dagestan wrestling school trainee Gadzhimagomedov will contest the 97 kg weight category. He is a junior European and World medalist regarded as one of Russia's brightest young prospects.
The championship will feature the strongest under-20 wrestlers from across the continent.
