BAKU, July 29 – RIA "Dagestan". At the U-18 World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships held in Baku, Soltan Yusupov emerged as world champion in the up to 48 kg division while competing for the Russian national team. Dagestani grappler won all four of his matches without defeat, overcoming rivals from Georgia, the USA, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in succession.
His comprehensive victory underscores both his technical mastery and mental resilience at the highest level of junior international competition.
