MAKHACHKALA, June 26 – RIA "Dagestan". Evgeny Gvozdev Sailing Federation of Dagestan fielded one of the strongest teams at the "Commonwealth Cup" international sailing regatta in Minsk. Competing on cruising yachts, Dagestani crew won the fourth place, missing the podium by just a single spot. "Our athletes took an honorable fourth place in a tough, tight struggle and under challenging weather conditions" Mukhtar Omarov, Head of Dagestan Sailing Federation said. The team was represented by Alexey Lazarev, Konstantin Goreyev, Maria Kvitko, Alexey Samoshkin and Nikita Kochmarev.
