MAKHACHKALA, March 18 – RIA Dagestan. Abdulrashid Sadulaev has commenced active preparation for the European Freestyle Wrestling Championship, scheduled to be held in April in Tirana, Albania.
Dagestani freestyle wrestler prepares for the competition as part of the Russian national team at a training camp in Kislovodsk. This marks the first training camp for the national team ahead of the European Championship; a second stage of preparation is scheduled to take place later in the Moscow Region.
Apart from Sadulaev, other Dagestani wrestlers who achieved first-place results at the qualifying rating tournament "Ivan Yarygin Cup" also prepare for the European Championship. At this year's tournament in Krasnoyarsk, top finishes in their respective weight categories were recorded for Bashir Magomedov (65 kg), Akhmed Usmanov (79 kg), Ibrahim Kadiev (86 kg), Amanulla Gadzhimagomedov (92 kg), Mukhammad-Takhir Khaniyev (97 kg) and Shamil Musaev (125 kg).
