The Russian Sailing Championship has kicked off in the city of Yeisk. For the first time in a long time the representatives of Dagestan applied for participation in the event. Zamir Mirzoev and Mariyan Abdullaeva became the pioneers of Dagestan in the All-Russian competitions. Athletes from Dagestan will compete for the championship prizes in windsurfing - one of the sports disciplines of sailing. The sailboats are trained at the Caspian City Sports School in Makhachkala.
