Dinara Sheripova won a gold medal at the World Championship among 12–14-year-old athletes, held in the city of Fujairah (UAE). Dagestani athlete performed as a member of the Russian national team in the category up to 33 kg. In the final the trainee of coach Sariya Magomedova defeated her rival from Serbia. Dagestan taekwondist Amirali Kadyrov also won silver at the World Youth Championship.
