MAKHACHKALA, June 16 – RIA Dagestan. Dagestan GTF taekwondo representatives delivered a successful performance at an international tournament in Kyrgyzstan as part of the Russian national team, winning three gold medals. Alexandra Avdeeva claimed victory in the "stop-ball" discipline and Leila Tagieva secured two additional golds by winning both the "light-contact" and "stop-ball" categories. Both athletes are from the "Champion" sports school, coached by Khalid Gadisov and Natalia Tagieva. Following their successful outing in Kyrgyzstan, Dagestani taekwondo athletes will now turn their focus to preparing for the next international event, to be held in Argentina.
