Dagestan-born freestyle wrestlers, Magomedrasul Asluyev (–74 kg) and Shamil Sharipov(–125 kg), representing the national team of Bahrain, have claimed two bronze medals at the Asian Wrestling Championship held in Jordan. Earlier in the competition, another Dagestani, Khidir Saipudinov (-79 kg), secured a silver medal for his country.
