LYUBERTSY, May 22 – RIA Dagestan. At the opening match of the Russian Taekwondo Championship in Lyubertsy, Moscow Oblast, two Dagestani athletes claimed gold medals: Radzhab Abdulgashumov in the 87 kg category and Shamala Selimova in the 49 kg category. Dagestani squad was represented by more than 20 competitors at this national competition, demonstrating the republic's strong presence in the sport.
