The Russian Championship in athletics in Cheboksary saw the participation of Dagestani athletes with visual impairments, where 11 representatives of the region emerged as winners and medalists. Each of these athletes, participating in multiple track and field events, achieved more than one medal. Anastasia Ogneva emerged as a four-time gold medalist, Alexander Sorokin claimed three prestigious awards, while Rasul Madaev and Alexander Dormidontov both claimed two medals each. Besides, Yusup Rasulov, Nikita Sokolov and Svyatoslav Yevgrafov all claimed the title of Russian champions.
