The process of implementing the investment project for the construction of a five-star hotel, in collaboration with the state-owned corporation Tourism.RF, has begun in Derbent. The hotel will consist of 186 guest rooms, two restaurants, a spa and a spacious outdoor area. According to Khizri Abakarov, the State Duma deputy, this will be the first hotel of such a size in Dagestan. Abakarov also added that the regional government provides state support measures to ensure the successful completion of the project. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in 2027.
