Dagestan Steklo Tara plant, which is the largest producer of glass containers in the Northern Caucasus, has successfully implemented a modernization program and launched a new workshop for the production of unique products. The total investment in this project exceeded RUB 1.6 billion.

The new production facility will play a crucial role in ensuring import substitution in the glass industry, while also creating new jobs and boosting tax revenues for the local budget. A distinctive feature of the newly constructed facility is the installation of an advanced glass melting furnace that is unparalleled in Russia. This state-of-the-art equipment empowers the plant to manufacture lightweight glass containers with enhanced strength characteristics that conform to stringent international standards.

Consequently, the company anticipates an increase in annual production capacity to 144 million units, offering a diverse selection of products catering to the needs of the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
