The volume of state defense orders in Dagestan increased up to RUB 10 billion in 2024, Nizam Khalilov the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan says. In 2023 the figure was RUB 8.5 billion.

The main contractors for the state defense order in Dagestan are the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant and Dagdiesel in Kaspiysk. In recent years, the volume of contracts has shown the following dynamics: - RUB 6.1 billion in 2022; - RUB 7 billion in 2021; - and RUB 3.9 billion in 2019.
