Dagestan gets prepared to host “Highlanders” International Festival

Preparations for the 23rd International Festival of Folk and Traditional Culture "Highlanders", to be held on June 11-16, 2025 in Dagestan, are in full swing. The Festival is one of the most significant international cultural events organized within the framework of the "Culture" national project. In 2025, the event is expected to attract creative teams from Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Southern Ossetia, as well as the representatives from more than 20 different regions of Russia.
The 2025 program promises a rich tapestry of cultural experiences, encompassing grand concerts, celebrations of folk music and dance, exhibitions of traditional musical instruments and attire, captivating circus performances, showcases of folk art and craftsmanship, as well as festivals dedicated to Russian and Cossack culture and rituals.
