Over the last ten years, Russia has experienced a tourism boom, more than doubling its number of visitors. The most significant growth has been concentrated in the North Caucasian Federal District. Chechnya, Ingushetia, and Dagestan have emerged as record-breakers, increasing their tourist flow by seven, five, and four times. This surge indicates a significant shift, positioning these regions as the country's fastest-growing tourist destinations, even as traditional hubs like Moscow and St. Petersburg continue to dominate in overall visitor numbers.
