The Orlyonok-Dagestan newspaper has won the Grand Prix of the All-Russian contest of media associations 'Mediatochka 2023'. Additionally, the newspaper was granted a Diploma for the workshop 'Generation of Media Leaders', awarded by the League of Young Journalists of the Russian Federation.

The event took place in the region on February 1 – 4 and provided valuable experience for about 100 young journalists. Experienced journalists generously shared their knowledge and experience with the young colleagues as part of the project.

The masterclasses were held in Derbent, Makhachkala, Buynaksk and Mamedkala, providing participants with essential and practical information for their future work in media. The participants gained valuable insights, exchanged experiences and honed their skills by working on their mistakes. At the end of the event, all the young journalists received Certificates.
