The republican archery team has achieved remarkable success at the Cup of Russia, held in the Ingush settlement of Muzhichi, where they secured a commendable performance. However, Dagestani archers did not take part in the team competition, in which national teams from 29 Russian regions competed.

Dagestani athletes emerged as triumphant, claiming six accolades, with three of them being the highest honors. Zarema Ubardinova and Magomedarif Mirzaev have become champions in longbow archery, while Raup Abdurazakov secured the top spot in non-targeted classical archery.

Remarkably, three Dagestanis — Ramazan Omarov, Magomedsalam Alimurzaev and Murad Abdurashidov achieved the prestigious status of Master of Sports of Russia during this competition.
